A beautiful place to stay
To stay at Fjellkysten can be a special experience. Fjellkysten is built with inspiration from the old norwegian architecture. The house is halfway buried like a hut which also features a traditional Norwegian grass roof. You will not hear rain on the roof or wind against the outside walls. Most rooms have views over the bay, and in the winter this view is a great opportunity to see Aurora Borealis (the northern lighting). When the night sky is filled with shimmery light, it surely is a wonderful sight.
STANDARD ROOM
Guestrooms at Fjellkysten Hotel are bright and cozy. All our rooms feels light and spacious.
Bathrooms with shower in this category are at an ordinary standard.
FAMILY ROOM
Guestrooms contain two beds that usually consists of a double bed plus a bunk bed or a daybed expandable to a double bed. The bathroom is spacious and practical. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette with two hotplates and a frigde. Linen and cutlery are also provided for self-catering or longer stays.
FJORD VIEW
Two and two double rooms have a connecting door and can be offered as double. The ocean view rooms are double rooms with a lovely view over the Lavangen fjord.
FJORD VIEW PLUS
We have four ocean view plus rooms.
These are our best equipped rooms at Fjellkysten Hotel. They have the best ocean view, a double bed with a thick matrass, a couch with the ability to become an extra bed, a television, a kettle and a hairdryer. The rooms are newly renovated and have all different themes.
Our staff will welcome you with a smile. They are here to help you, so ask them anything. They have a lot of knowledge about the area, ask them about trails and hikes.
Fjellkysten is surrounded by beautiful nature such as mountains and fjords. There are lovely hikes to take, cross county-ski trails to follow and mountains to climb.
